My card was lost/expired – can I be refunded?

All refunds are processed back onto the card used to pay, this ensures that the funds go to the correct place.

  • If you have received a replacement card with the same bank, the sum will generally be added there automatically.
  • If you have closed the account or no longer bank with that issuer, the bank will receive the refund regardless and hold this in a pending state linked to the old account.
  • If your account is closed or you have not seen the refund land within 10 working days, please contact your card issuer, who can assist you in locating or arranging a transfer to your new account.
